Our intention is to make Kōkōkaha an enduring part of the education landscape in Aotearoa New Zealand. Before we do this, we want to make sure it works for teachers and students. Your feedback will be invaluable in helping us shape Kōkōkaha for the future.

The key contacts in the 245 schools that registered for Kōkōkaha in term one 2021 have been asked to complete this survey. We do not require every teacher in each school or kura to undertake the survey. It should take you around ten minutes to complete. Information gathered through the survey will only be available to the Kōkōkaha team at Yachting New Zealand and no identifiable information will be published in the report.

36. The ‘Take Action’ component of Kōkōkaha is intended for students to use the skills and knowledge that they acquire to design a technology to harness the power of the wind. We intended that these designs be shared through an online gallery. You can refresh your memory about this component of the programme by visiting www.kokokaha-yachting.nz/take-action.

To date we have not received many designs and are wondering whether this component of Kōkōkaha needs more thought.
